Brivo Access
Summer 2023 Launch

New improvements to Brivo Access offer advancements to the management experience, user experience and connectivity across Brivo devices and applications.

License Plate Credentials

License Plate Credentials

In partnership with Eagle Eye Networks we are pleased to introduce the License Plate Credentials. Credentials define the access control user experience and adding the license plate credential to the portfolio of credentials supported by Brivo Access delivers a fast, secure and frictionless vehicle entry to secure parking areas. By using virtually any ONVIF camera and an Eagle Eye Networks Bridge to read any license plate, vehicles, whether associated with a user or defined by their license plate, like a fleet vehicle, will improve the user experience by allowing vehicles to move faster through secure gates.

Shared Access

This new feature in Brivo Enterprise Edition allows group access sharing between Brivo Accounts and is perfect for multi-tenant environments to allow users to move between common base building access control points and entrances to private office spaces.

With Shared Access, Enterprise accounts can easily send invitations to “Share Access” with any Brivo customer, dramatically improving the user experience by allowing a single credential to access separately managed areas.

Recorded Video

Recorded Video

Recorded video allows users of Brivo Access to more easily view any recorded video associated with access events from within the Brivo Access interface. Filters include: Site, Date, Event Name and Cameras. As well as, a scrollable timeline of Access events with thumbnail preview and event data. Users can also select from different length zoom windows to ease identification of events.

Monitored Devices

It is not uncommon to have doors (e.g., classrooms, emergency exits), windows or environmental sensors that are non-access controlled, but are still important for the purpose of monitored security. New in Brivo Access is the ability to monitor these non-access control points the same way that access controlled doors are monitored, including by type of event, while also setting notifications and the associationing, where present.

Adding Schedule Block

Schedules

The Scheduling feature in Brivo Access has been improved to make it easier than ever for Admins to view, create and modify door schedules. The improved features allows schedules to be set for time and day, assignment to groups or locations, while also allowing for holidays and other schedule exceptions, as defined by need.
