AUSTIN, TX – Eagle Eye Networks, the global leader of cloud video security, today announced a collaboration with Matroid, an internationally recognized leader in machine learning computer vision to integrate Matroid’s Detectors onto the Eagle Eye Video API Platform. Eagle Eye customers will be able to seamlessly deploy Matroid’s Certified or Custom Detectors to identify a person, vehicle, or any object of interest without having to install any additional hardware.
With just a few clicks customers can deploy advanced AI Detectors on any Eagle Eye Cloud VMS Camera. Detectors can be trained to detect and recognize a wide array of objects and behaviors including vehicles (types, models, colors), activities (running, walking, standing), objects (bikes, bags, luggage), emotions (happy, sad, angry), animals and much more. The integration will provide real-time notifications of Detections as well as the ability to search existing video.
With this integration, customers can utilize Matroid’s search and analytics for the detection of objects on any Eagle Eye Cloud VMS Camera. Behavioral and AI analytics help business owners move beyond traditional monitoring to proactively identify threats and minimizing risks before they escalate.
“Eagle Eye’s global customers have a diverse set of AI and video analytics needs. One company cannot develop a solution for each customer’s AI needs, therefore Eagle Eye provides an open solution, the Eagle Eye Video API Platform, for integration with many different providers of AI. Matroid has some highly advanced pre-trained models and a powerful model training software toolset that many of our customers will find powerful,” said Dean Drako, CEO and Founder of Eagle Eye Networks. “This partnership is a great example of how the Eagle Eye Video API Platform delivers flexibility and future proofs our customers.”
“We’re excited to provide advanced analytics to millions of new video streams through our partnership with Eagle Eye Networks,” said Reza Zadeh, CEO and Founder of Matroid. “With this partnership, Eagle Eye Networks customers can automate detections and analytics, improving reaction time by augmenting human operators.”
