About the Integration

Eyes on Alert, branded School Security First in K-12, alerts your people and initiates your configured Brivo lockdown from a single action.

Eyes on Alert is a real-time emergency notification system for businesses, churches, healthcare facilities, campuses and HOAs, and is branded School Security First in K-12 schools. Personnel carry the mobile app and declare an emergency from their phone, choosing the location, the type from eight predefined categories, and who needs to be notified. The alert reaches those people immediately, and an in-app Call 911 button keeps that call one tap away.

For Brivo-integrated deployments, that same action also initiates the configured Brivo emergency lockdown scenario, without requiring personnel to perform a separate action in the Brivo Security Suite. The request is made server-side over a connection an administrator authorized once for that campus.

When the situation is resolved, a designated user issues All Clear, everyone who received the alert is told the emergency is over, and the Brivo scenario is cleared the same way.

Eyes on Alert is built to sit alongside an existing safety plan rather than replace it. Its own guidance is explicit that personnel must still contact 911.

What It Does

  • Declare from a phone. Choose the location, the type and who to notify, and reach the right people immediately.

  • Initiate the Brivo scenario. The same action initiates the configured Brivo lockdown scenario, with no separate Brivo step for personnel to perform.

  • Issue All Clear. Tell everyone who was alerted that the emergency is over, and clear the Brivo scenario the same way.

How It Works

  1. 1. Authorize.

An administrator signs in to Brivo once per campus to authorize the connection. Eyes on Alert stores that authorization as an encrypted per-campus token.

  2. 2. Configure.

The campus has a default emergency lockdown scenario set up in Brivo.

  3. 3. Declare.

Personnel declare an emergency in the Eyes on Alert app. The alert goes out, and Eyes on Alert initiates the configured Brivo scenario from the same action, with no Brivo credentials needed.

  4. 4. All Clear.

A designated user issues All Clear. Everyone who received the alert is told, and the Brivo scenario is cleared the same way.

What You Need

On the Brivo Side

  • A Brivo account on the global instance, with the Emergency Scenario feature and a configured default lockdown scenario

  • The Brivo EU instance is not supported

On the Eyes on Alert Side

  • An Eyes on Alert subscription, licensed per user and purchased from Eyes on Alert

  • Personnel who install the Eyes on Alert mobile app, sign in with a one-time password, and allow notifications
  • North America only

Where It Fits

Schools

Staff declare an emergency from their phone, choosing the location, the type and who to notify, and the configured Brivo lockdown scenario is initiated from the same action. Branded School Security First in K-12.

Higher Education

On a campus, an authorized administrator connects each campus to Brivo once. After that, one declaration alerts the right people and initiates that campus’s configured Brivo scenario.

Healthcare Clinics

Staff declare from their phone without a separate Brivo step, and a designated user issues All Clear to tell everyone who was alerted and clear the Brivo scenario.
