AUSTIN, TX <\/strong>\u2013 Eagle Eye Networks, today announced that it has achieved a 93% compounded annual growth rate over the past 3<\/strong> years, The growth has been driven by the adoption of Eagle Eye\u2019s Cloud Video Management System (VMS) by all types of businesses for their video surveillance needs.<\/p>\n

\u201cI founded Eagle Eye Networks in 2012 to leverage the cloud and make video surveillance more accessible and scalable,\u201d said Dean Drako, CEO of Eagle Eye Networks. \u201cWe initially had to address hurdles and prove that we brought the level of cyber security required to fully protect customers data, demonstrate the deployment advantages of cloud, and show a lower TCO of the cloud subscription model.\u201d<\/p>\n

Drako continued, \u201cOver the last couple of years, we\u2019ve seen a tipping point in industry adoption. Moving forward over the next 5 years, I see Cloud, Analytics, and AI as the biggest drivers for the growth in our industry.\u201d<\/p>\n

The vast majority of Eagle Eye Networks\u2019 93% compounded annual growth since 2015 was organic. Some contributing factors were:<\/p>\n

  1. Eagle Eye Networks\u2019 acquired Panasonic\u2019s Camera Manager business. Although the acquisition brought some initial accretive revenues, its far more significant impact was providing the additional European sales, R&D and customer support teams to meet worldwide demand.<\/li>\n
  2. Analytics, advanced analytics, and AI are having impact on the compelling value of video surveillance to businesses. AI is best implemented with cloud elements, adding further to the business value of cloud video surveillance.<\/li>\n
  3. Eagle Eye has focused on channel distribution. Eagle Eye established key industry partnerships that have grown our partners importance and reach. The company has also expanded with an office in Tokyo to serve the Asia Pacific region.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    In order to scale to handle this rapid growth, Eagle Eye Networks completed an expansion of its data centers to 11 global locations last year.<\/p>\n
