Szczygiel discussed the strategic rationale and regional impact of the merger, noting that Middle East businesses want sophisticated, data-driven security solutions where they can centrally manage thousands of doors, cameras and locations. While the situation is different in the UK and Europe, where there is a massive installed base of legacy video and access control systems that are siloed, Szczygiel said, \u201cthe opportunity and appetite for smarter security is the same in EU and UK as it is in the Middle East.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
