The ACS5000 Control Panel for ACS WebService®
ACS WebService control panels use fully native TCP/IP technologies such as Ethernet, WiFi, Broadband, DSL, and even Satellite. This enables you to leverage your existing communications infrastructure instead of having to purchase new lines and equipment.
For information security, ACS WebService control panels connect to the Brivo Hosting Center automatically via secure 128-bit SSL encryption, so your data is always safe, regardless of which networking technology best fits your needs.
And installation of our products is the simplest in the industry—panels can be up and running within hours instead of days, eliminating expensive installation costs and frustrating delays for end users.
The ACS5000 is Brivo's new flagship product line, with expanded capacity and capabilities that make it a perfect fit for all jobs, large and small. Like its predecessors, this fully Web-programmable controller frees administrators from the confines of using a single dedicated PC. And it continues to provide the same event and alarm notification functionality that users have come to expect from Brivo products, supporting notification to email accounts and cell phones.
The ACS5000 can easily satisfy the expanded demands of new building installations and retrofits of overly complex older technologies—an unlimited number of panels can be used in one location, each supporting up to 30 doors, 120 inputs and 118 outputs from a single controller, and standard capacity for 25,000 users.
Full elevator control, DVR/CCTV integration, and administrative partitioning of users make it a natural for multi-tenant buildings.
The Brivo ACS5000 Main panel can be expanded over a distance of 1500 feet with up to seven additional expansion chassis, with four reader inputs in each, to provide a total capacity of up to 30 readers per panel.
The following components are currently available within the ACS WebService ACS5000 product line
ACS5000-E
The ACS5000-E is the basic building block of any ACS5000 system. It consists of the main processing board and chassis, plus the local communications infrastructure to control up to 14 additional Door Control and/or IO modules. The main board contains two full built-in Door Control modules. The ACS5000-E uses an on-board Ethernet interface to communicate via any TCP/IP networking technology that can be connected through a hub, router or switch, including WiFi and satellite communications.
ACS5008-E
The ACS5008-E is a larger version of the ACS5000-E, with an enclosure that can house three additional boards. It also comes with the proper power supply for the panels housed in this enclosure and for most card readers attached to those panels
ACS5000-W/G
The ACS5000-W/G adds an on-board GSM cellular data modem to the ACS5000-E for communications to remote site or other locations not served by broadband technologies.
ACS5000-EX
The ACS5000-EXP is an expansion chassis used to house up to two ACS5000DB and/or ACS5000IO modules. It is connected to the ACS5000-E via Cat 5 cabling in a daisy-chain configuration extending up to 1,500 feet from the main control panel.
ACS5008-EXP
The ACS5008-EXP is an expansion chassis used to house up to four expansion boards. It includes the proper power supply for all four expansion panels and for most card readers attached to those panels.
ACS5000-DB
The ACS5000-DB is a two-reader door control module used to expand system capacity. Installed as either the second board in a main panel or as one of the boards in an expansion chassis, it provides two reader control interfaces, plus several fully supervised auxiliary inputs and outputs.
ACS5000-IO
The ACS5000-IO is a fully programmable 8-input/8-output module used to expand system capacity. Installed as either the second board in a main panel or as one of the boards in an expansion chassis, it provides extended IO capability for elevator control, interfacing with local alarm systems, or any other supervisory or control task.
