Bethesda, MD, May 1, 2006 — Brivo Systems, the leader in web applications for access control and security systems, is pleased to announce today’s release of the ACS5000-Wireless Control Panel. The ACS5000-Wireless is an addition to Brivo's new flagship product line, the ACS5000 Series.

The ACS5000-Wireless adds an on-board cellular data modem to the ACS5000-E for communications to a remote site or other locations not served by wired broadband technologies. This fully Web programmable controller frees administrators from the confines of using a single dedicated PC. With expansion of up to 30 doors per panel, 120 inputs and 118 outputs, and a capacity of 25,000 users, it also provides the same event and alarm notifications found in previous generations of the Brivo ACS.

“The release of Brivo ACS5000 wireless control panel marks a return to our roots of offering wireless products that can operate remotely where no other product can be deployed,” commented Steven Van Till, President & Chief Operating Officer of Brivo. “We're especially pleased to be able to offer this unique capability more economically than ever before.”
