NBFAA Awards Accreditation for Brivo Systems’ ACS5000 Technical Training
Brivo course provides Continuing Education credits and essential product knowledge
Bethesda, MD, September 6, 2006 — Brivo Systems, the leader in Web applications for access control and security systems, today announced that its ACS5000 Technical Training course has been accredited by the National Burglar & Fire Alarm Association (NBFAA) National Training School (NTS).
Dale Eller, NBFAA director of Education and Standards, stated, “The Brivo ACS5000 Technical Training curriculum meets the NTS standards for courses that help security professionals maintain a high level of expertise in their field.” Participants earn 0.3 Continuing Education Units or CEUs upon course completion.
CEUs are required to maintain NBFAA/NTS certification. CEU courses may also be taken outside the certification process, for professionals with needs such as specific product training. NTS accreditation assures students that the course is substantive and will help them advance their professional abilities and knowledge.
Brivo’s ACS5000 Technical Training course provides students with expertise in installing, configuring, and maintaining a Brivo ACS5000 Control Panel. The course is recommended for anyone who installs or supports a Brivo system, as well as sales estimators, system designers, and anyone else for whom an understanding of the industry’s leading products is vital to their ability to properly recommend or design electronic access control systems.
Brivo’s Field Technical Manager, Michael Cartee, who oversees Brivo’s national training programs and course development, said, “The NTS accreditation is just one more step on Brivo’s path to providing that higher level of service and support our customers expect. We will continue to anticipate and respond to customer needs to ensure their complete satisfaction.”
