Bethesda, MD, September 4, 2007 — Brivo Systems, LLC, the leader in Web applications for access control and security systems, today announced that its access control system has received CE certification and may now be exported to the European Union and member states of the European Free Trade Association.

CE certification is bestowed on products that meet all the requirements of the European Directives applicable to electrical and electronic equipment. CE certification for electronic access control systems is required before the product may be sold within countries that belong to the European Union and European Free Trade Association.

With this new certification, Brivo's control panels sold in the EU will bear the CE mark. This assures prospective customers that the product has met the standards set forth regarding safety and environmental impact. The Brivo control panels that have received the CE certification are the ACS5000-S and ACS5000-E, which means that organizations in EU countries now have access to all of Brivo's solutions, including ACS WebService™, the Web-hosted access control system that allows multiple facilities to be managed on one system, no matter where they are located.

The certification is the final step Brivo needed to ensure its products were ready for export to Europe. Brivo's Director of International and Distribution Sales, Shawn Gore, based in Montreal, Quebec, is in charge of all international opportunities. Mr. Gore has overseen growth in Canada and has been developing sales in Latin America.

The European export possibilities for Brivo's online access control systems are promising. Said Gore, “Brivo's systems will be an excellent solution for European companies looking for a Web-based, highly user-friendly system. Our user interface is available in Spanish and French in addition to English, so the system can meet the needs of a wide variety of end-users.”

ACS OnSite™, Brivo's Web-connected standalone access control system, is an ideal product for European distributors with a line of security products or those looking to branch into distributing electronic access control systems. ACS WebService, Brivo's Web-hosted offering, allows Administrators to easily manage their access control system across multiple facilities around the world using any standard Web browser. ACS OnSite or ACS WebService, Brivo has choices that fit any access control installation.
