Steve Van Till
President and Chief Executive Officer
A co-founder of Brivo Systems, Steve served first as CTO and more recently as President and CEO, guiding the company from its initial vision of providing Web-based security services and products to its current position as the largest online access control system in the industry. An interactive systems architect, Steve helped launch Brivo after serving as Director of Internet Consulting for Sapient Corporation, where he lead Internet strategy engagements to support "dot com" startups and Fortune 500 new ventures. Prior to joining Sapient, Steve led Internet strategy development in the healthcare informatics industry for HCIA Inc. Steve also has over 10 years experience in wireless communications as Vice President of Software Development at Geostar Inc., the first commercial satellite-based vehicle tracking system in the U.S., and as Director of Systems Engineering at Communications Satellite Corporation.
Steve was honored in 2008 with his election to the Security Industry Association’s Board of Directors, and he was recently re-elected to a second two-year term. In early 2011, he was appointed to Chair SIA’s Standards Committee. Steve holds a bachelor's degree from Calvin College and was a Ph.D. candidate in physics at the University of Maryland.
John Szczygiel
Executive Vice President, Business Development
John joined Brivo in June 2009, bringing more than 25 years of experience in the security industry, including executive positions within global manufacturing and systems integration companies. Most recently, he served as President of MATE Intelligent Video, a global leader in video analytics for automated surveillance and data-mining. Previously, John served as President of the Security Systems Division of Siemens Building Technologies and as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Security Technologies Group.
William Savage
Senior Vice President, Engineering & Operations
Bill has spent more than 15 years in the CCTV, Digital Technology, and Access Control industries, previously holding positions as Vice President of Technical Services for AMAG Technology and Worldwide Manager of Technical Services for Pelco. Bill has earned a reputation in the industry as a key player in government and commercial installations and has accordingly received several industry awards for Exceptional Customer Service and Superior Product Innovation.
Dave Williams
Director of Business Development
Dave joined Brivo in 2004 as the Midwest Regional Sales Manager, increasing sales by 412% in one year. He has nearly 20 years tenure in the electronic access control industry, including time spent with Northern Computers. He currently oversees Brivo's Business Development efforts as well as Regional Sales. Dave holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Marketing from University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point.
Rajeev Dubey
Director of Marketing
Rajeev has a wealth of experience in global business, product strategy, and product marketing. His record of product management and software engineering experience includes such leading companies as Honeywell, United Technologies, Juniper Networks, and Nortel. Rajeev holds an M.S. in Management & Engineering from Sloan School of Management, M.I.T.
Robert L. Fealy
Chairman of the Board
In addition to Chairman of Brivo Systems, Robert L. Fealy is President, Chief Operating Officer and Director of The Duchossois Group, Inc., and Managing Director of Duchossois Technology Partners, a venture capital firm investing in early, mid, and growth stages of high potential technology companies. He is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of AMX and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Milestone AV Technologies. He serves on the Board of Directors and Executive and Strategy Committees of Churchill Downs, Inc., a NASDAQ listed company. He also serves on the Boards of The Chamberlain Group, Pella Corporation, and Radeum, Inc. He is a founding Board member of the Illinois Venture Capital Association and Treasurer of the IVCA-PAC. He also is Chairman of the Illinois Innovation Accelerator Fund which, in conjunction with the Chicagoland Entrepreneurial Center, provides funding to start-up companies in Illinois and surrounding regions.
Prior to joining Duchossois, Bob served in several senior roles at Cummins Engine Company, including Vice President of Business Strategy and Treasurer. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati (BBA 1973) and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a Trustee of the University of Cincinnati Foundation, a member of the UC Business Advisory Council and Co-Chair of the Proudly Cincinnati Capital Campaign.
